The Oaks Lab studies the impact of nutrition before, during, and after pregnancy. Our aim is to understand how we can use nutrition to reduce health disparities within the U.S. and globally.

We focus our research on birth outcomes, child and adolescent health, maternal health outcomes, micronutrients, cortisol, and obesity during pregnancy.
